PEUGEOT 308 Recall

Brake may be inadvertently applied

PEUGEOT 308 recall Dec 2010PEUGEOT announced a problem with the 308 affecting a total of 13,263 vehicles.

In certain circumstances it is possible that the passenger could inadvertently apply the service brake. The linkage is accessed above the passenger footwell. Vehicles built from 4/12/2009 to 21/9/2010 are at risk.

The following remedial action is necessary to address this problem. Affected vehicles will have a cover fitted above the passenger footwell to close off access to the brake linkage.
