JEEP announced a problem with the Cherokee affecting a total of 404 vehicles.
The lower instrument panel cover may have been incorrectly installed. This could lead to the cover becoming detached and distract the driver. Vehicles built from 01/01/2001 to 12/31/2001 are at risk.
The following remedial action is necessary to address this problem. A revised instrument panel will be fitted that is equipped with wire hooks.
