MITSUBISHI announced a problem with the SPACEWAGON affecting a total of 4,955 vehicles.
There is a possibility that due to improper fixing position of the front brake hose, excessive stress may occur to the hose when continually operated on the steering system. In the worst case, cracks may occur on the brake hose, which may result in a leak and a reduction in brake force. Vehicles built from 10/01/1999 to 10/01/2003 are at risk.
The following remedial action is necessary to address this problem. Recall affected vehicles to fit modified brake hoses and brackets
If you think that your vehicle may be affected by this recall you should
