CITROEN announced a problem with the C4 affecting a total of 134 vehicles.
The front seat belts may not lock in the buckles correctly which will have the affect of the front passengers not being sufficiently restrained in the case of a violent impact. Vehicles built from 12/2/2009 to 12/3/2009 are at risk.
The following remedial action is necessary to address this problem. Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected to check and where necessary repair the seat belt locking mechanism.
If you think that your vehicle may be affected by this recall you should
find your nearest CITROEN dealer
who will be able to confirm whether or not your car is safe and arrange its free repair if necessary.
