CADILLAC DEVILLE CONCOURS,SEVILLE, ELDORADO AND AURORA Recall
THE fuel common rail construction may degrade and crack
CADILLAC announced a problem with the DEVILLE CONCOURS,SEVILLE, ELDORADO AND AURORA affecting a total of 10 vehicles.
The material of the fuel system common rail may degrade and crack, with the result that fuel can leak into the engine bay. A situation which if a source of ignition were present, could result in a fire. Vehicles built from 09/01/1995 to 09/01/1997 are at risk.
The following remedial action is necessary to address this problem. Likely to be affected vehicles will be recalled for inspection of the relevant component, which will be replaced by a stainless steel item should this be necessary.
