CITROEN announced a problem with the C3 affecting a total of 7,760 vehicles.
It has been established that on some C3's the rigid section of the front brake hose may be deformed or twisted. This could result in a deterioration of the braking efficiency. Vehicles built from 9/11/2008 to 1/15/2010 are at risk.
The following remedial action is necessary to address this problem. Recall the affected vehicles and inspect the brake hose for distortion and replace if required.
If you think that your vehicle may be affected by this recall you should
find your nearest CITROEN dealer
who will be able to confirm whether or not your car is safe and arrange its free repair if necessary.
