SCANIA TRUCK announced a problem with the R AND P SERIES affecting a total of 3,358 vehicles.
The nut and bolt that clamp the track rod end to the track rod may be defective resulting in the clamping force applied being insufficient.
The following remedial action is necessary to address this problem. Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected to replace the nuts and bolts for the track rod end clamp.
