VW Touareg Recall

Rear spoiler could become detached when driving.

VW Touareg recall Aug 2009

VW announced a problem with the Touareg affecting a total of 6,428 vehicles.

It has been identified that the holders of the rear spoiler may break. Should this occur whilst the vehicle is being driven, the spoiler may detach completely. Vehicles built from 1/5/2006 to 31/1/2009 are at risk.

Recalled vehicles will have the three attachment areas of the rear spoiler modified with additional bonded on reinforcements
