DAF CF85 and XF105 Recall |
OIL may leak |
DAF announced a problem with the CF85 and XF105 affecting a total of 955 vehicles.
It has been identified that the centrifugal filter screw cap to the engine oil cooler module on a specific number of vehicles may loosen resulting in oil leakage onto the road surface. Vehicles built from 1/6/2010 to 28/2/2011 are at risk.
The following remedial action is necessary to address this problem. This recall is to replace the centrifugal oil filter with a quality improved version.
Vehicles with the following identification numbers are affected:
E880580 to E901763
