ISUZU TROUPER 3.0 LITRE Recall

Dilution of engine oil leading to engine damage

ISUZU announced a problem with the TROUPER 3.0 LITRE affecting a total of 14,215 vehicles.

Due to excessive clearance within the fuel injectors, fuel may leak into the cylinder bores and then into the sump, causing engine oil dilution. If this situation is ignored engine damage can occur, additionally the engine revs may show an unintentional increase. Vehicles built from 01/01/1998 to 12/31/2003 are at risk.

The following remedial action is necessary to address this problem. Affected vehicles will have the fuel injectors replaced.
