Auxiliary heater harness connector could over heat
VAUXHALL announced a problem with the MONTEREY affecting a total of 2,593 vehicles.
It is possible that the auxiliary heater harness connection could over heat or burn due to oxidization. In extreme cases, it is possible that this could result in a thermal incident. Vehicles built from 10/01/1992 to 10/01/1999 are at risk.
The following remedial action is necessary to address this problem. Recall the affected vehicles and install heat shrink sleeves to the wining.
