MERCEDES BENZ announced a problem with the Sprinter affecting a total of 19 vehicles.
It has been identified that an incorrect brake master cylinder and or brake fluid reservoir has been installed. In instances of the installation of an incorrect brake master cylinder, the brake pedal will travel further before the brakes become effective. On vehicles fitted with an incorrect brake fluid reservoir, the brake wear limit light will illuminate prematurely. Vehicles built from 1/1/2006 to 12/31/2007 are at risk.
Recalled vehicles will have the brake master cylinder and or the brake fluid reservoir replaced.
If you think that your vehicle may be affected by this recall you should
