SCANIA TRUCK announced a problem with the G, P and R series affecting a total of 7 vehicles.
It has been identified that during production, the U bolt nuts on all axles may not have been tightened to the correct torque. Vehicles built from 8/22/2007 to 4/15/2008 are at risk.
Recalled vehicles will have the U bolt nuts checked, for correct torque. The U bolts will be changed if any of the nuts are found to be loose.
