PEUGEOT announced a problem with the 307, 407, 607, 807 & Expert III affecting a total of 19,867 vehicles.
It has been identified that on the specified vehicles, a fault may develop with the brake vacuum pump. This can result in hardening of the brake pedal, with an attendant loss of braking efficiency. Vehicles built from 7/1/2005 to 12/31/2006 are at risk.
Recalled vehicles will have the vacuum pump replaced.
