Failure of the throttle stop, could lead to a reduction in braking assistance
PEUGEOT announced a problem with the 307 & 807 affecting a total of 8,599 vehicles.
The original engine software may cause erratic operation of the motorised throttle body. This could , in rare extreme cases, cause the throttle stop to break. This will cause the engine to revert to limp home mode, which possible may cause a reduction in braking assistance.
The following remedial action is necessary to address this problem. Install updated software in the engine ECU.

who will be able to confirm whether or not your car is safe and arrange its free repair if necessary.
