FERRARI announced a problem with the F355 affecting a total of 1,165 vehicles.
It has been identified that due to incorrect assembly, the possibility exists that engine bay fuel pipes may come into contact with the metal clip of a cooling system pipe. This contact my cause the fuel pipe to leak, with the attendant risk of fire. Vehicles built from 5/1/1995 to 6/30/1999 are at risk.
Recalled vehicles will have the fuel distribution block replaced to prevent cooling pipe contact.
