MERCEDES BENZ E Class, SL, S Class, C Class Recall
Unintentional deployment of air bag
MERCEDES BENZ announced a problem with the E Class, SL, S Class, C Class affecting a total of 7,041 vehicles.
Exposure to high humidity conditions may result in corrosion that can cause the drivers front air bag to deploy unintentionally. Vehicles built from 09/01/1995 to 12/31/1996 are at risk.
The following remedial action is necessary to address this problem. Recall affected vehicles and replace air bag.
