FIAT announced a problem with the Bravo affecting a total of 120 vehicles.
It has been identified that the possibility exists that a non conforming weld may be present on the vehicle's rear cross member, with the fixing bracket for the wheel axle hub. This non conformity in time; could cause the weld to break, and crack the rear cross member, which could have an adverse effect on the vehicle's stability. Vehicles built from 6/1/2007 to 6/30/2007 are at risk.
Recalled vehicles will have the subject cross member identification numbers and weld markings checked; to ascertain whether they conform. Should this not be the case, the cross member will be replaced.
If you think that your vehicle may be affected by this recall you should
find your nearest FIAT dealer
who will be able to confirm whether or not your car is safe and arrange its free repair if necessary.
