Driver's and passenger's seat heating can become too hot
MAN announced a problem with the F2000 affecting a total of 1,275 vehicles.
Due to the ageing process, the resistance within the seat heating system may increase. If the heating is operated at the highest setting, this can lead to inadmissibly high temperatures, and the possibility of smouldering. Vehicles built from 07/01/1999 to 07/01/2001 are at risk.
The following remedial action is necessary to address this problem. Recall affected vehicles check the seat heating system and replace components as necessary.
If you think that your vehicle may be affected by this recall you should
find your nearest MAN dealer
who will be able to confirm whether or not your car is safe and arrange its free repair if necessary.
