JAGUAR XJ Range Recall

AIR bag may rupture
JAGUAR XJ Range recall Apr 2004JAGUAR announced a problem with the XJ Range affecting a total of 313 vehicles.

The aperture in the dash through which the airbag deploys may not have been correctly finished so leaving a sharp edge. If deployed, the air bag may rupture. Vehicles built from 11/01/2003 to 01/01/2004 are at risk.

The following remedial action is necessary to address this problem. Recall affected vehicles, remove deployment door, inspect aperture and if necessary remove any sharp edges.

Vehicles with the following identification numbers are affected:

SAJWA71C84SG25690 to SAJAA72N84RG27957
