Possibility that the steering wheel may become loose on the column splines
RENAULT TRUCKS UK LTD announced a problem with the Mascott Dxi affecting a total of 19 vehicles.
It is possible that the steering wheel may become loose on the steering column mounting splines, which could eventually damage the splines. Vehicles built from 04/14/2004 to 05/28/2004 are at risk.
The following remedial action is necessary to address this problem. Recall affected vehicles, replace the steering wheel and mounting bolt with quality assured items.
