MAN announced a problem with the TGA, TGS & TGX affecting a total of 478 vehicles.
It has been identified that a number of the subject vehicles have been fitted with faulty Voss air distributor check valves, which do not afford the prime mover parking brake system reliable protection in the event of the trailer air supply lines becoming holed or torn away. Should a trailer air supply line disconnect, or holing situation occur, there is the potential for the prime mover rear axle parking brakes to actuate, causing the vehicle to slow down, or in some cases, suffer rear wheel lock with no driver input.
Recalled vehicles will have the subject valve replaced with a quality assured item.
If you think that your vehicle may be affected by this recall you should
