CITROEN announced a problem with the C3 affecting a total of 34 vehicles.
The tailgate may fall from the open position because of a potentially faulty ball joint to strut link. Vehicles built from 12/4/2011 to 14/4/2011 are at risk.
The following remedial action is necessary to address this problem. Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected to check and if necessary replace the tailgate struts.
