CITROEN C2,C3 and C3 Pluriel Recall

Braking efficiency may reduce

CITROEN C2,C3 and C3 Pluriel recall Dec 2006CITROEN announced a problem with the C2,C3 and C3 Pluriel affecting a total of 4,032 vehicles.

If the battery voltage is abnormally low, the antilock braking system electronic control unit may not perform to specification which in rare cases may cause a reduction in braking efficiency. Vehicles built from 06/15/2006 to 08/30/2006 are at risk.

The following remedial action is necessary to address this problem. Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected to replace the Electronic Control Unit.

Vehicles with the following identification numbers are affected:

VF7******28090704 to VF7******28755822
VF7******97403721 to VF7******97417446
