DAF LF45 & LF55 Recall |
Possible fracture of propellor shaft |
DAF announced a problem with the LF45 & LF55 affecting a total of 61 vehicles.
The propellor shaft fitted to a specific number of vehicles may fracture at certain high rotation frequencies. Vehicles built from 12/01/2001 to 02/28/2002 are at risk.
The following remedial action is necessary to address this problem. Affected vehicles are being recalled for the fitment of a quality assured replacement propellor shaft.
Vehicles with the following identification numbers are affected:
L224187 to L236489
