LOTUS ELISE Recall |
Unstable handling |
LOTUS announced a problem with the ELISE affecting a total of 131 vehicles.
The left and right rear suspension toe links may have female threads that do not meet the required quality standard. In the worst case an insecure toe link would adversely affect the control of the vehicle. Vehicles built from 07/11/2002 to 09/02/2002 are at risk.
The following remedial action is necessary to address this problem. Examine the toe links and replace any that are identified as being within the suspect batch. |

find your nearest LOTUS dealer
who will be able to confirm whether or not your car is safe and arrange its free repair if necessary.
