CHRYSLER GRAND VOYAGER Recall

Airbag may deploy inadvertently

CHRYSLER  GRAND VOYAGER recall Feb 2011CHRYSLER announced a problem with the GRAND VOYAGER affecting a total of 1,799 vehicles.

The Heating, Ventilation and Air-Conditioning (HVAC) drain tube and grommet may leak water onto the passenger compartment carpeting and/or the Occupant Restraint Control (OCR) module. This can lead to the illumination of the airbag warning lamp and the potential for an inadvertent airbag deployment without warning.

The following remedial action is necessary to address this problem. The HVAC drain tube and grommet must be replaced.

Vehicles with the following identification numbers are affected:

1A8HTH4P18B100178 to 1A8GTH4P78B195177
