FORD announced a problem with the Focus affecting a total of 14,027 vehicles.
The rear hub retaining bolts may become loose because some bolts are not to the required specification. Vehicles built from 2/21/2007 to 4/15/2007 are at risk.
The following remedial action is necessary to address this problem. Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected to replace the rear hub retaining bolts with those of a revised specification.
If you think that your vehicle may be affected by this recall you should
find your nearest FORD dealer
who will be able to confirm whether or not your car is safe and arrange its free repair if necessary.
