Wheelchair retractor belt may not lock |
GOWERINGS MOBILITY LTD announced a problem with the GOWRINGS COMBO affecting a total of 26 vehicles.
Intermittent failure of the locking mechanism in the electrically operated combo retractor belts (also front wheel chair restraints). If the retractor belts fail the wheel chair and user could be insecure on loading and when loaded.
The following remedial action is necessary to address this problem. Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected to replace the electrically operated combo retractor belts.
