Tightness of steering wheel mounting may not conform with nissan standards
NISSAN announced a problem with the INTERSTAR affecting a total of 260 vehicles.
In certain cases the tightness of the steering wheel mounting may not conform to specification. Vehicles built from 03/09/2004 to 03/11/2004 are at risk.
The following remedial action is necessary to address this problem. As a preventative measure, likely to be affected vehicles will be recalled at which time the steering wheel will be replaced, and it's mounting strengthened.
