PEUGEOT announced a problem with the 407 COUPE & 607 ENGINE TYPE DT17 affecting a total of 635 vehicles.
It is possible that the engine may stall when lifting your foot off of the accelerator immediately after high speed usage of the vehicle.
The following remedial action is necessary to address this problem. Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected to download a new piece of software to the engine ECU.

who will be able to confirm whether or not your car is safe and arrange its free repair if necessary.
