NISSAN Terrano Recall

Brake pipe may leak

NISSAN Terrano recall May 2002NISSAN announced a problem with the Terrano affecting a total of 842 vehicles.

An interference can occur between the steering column and the brake pipe which supplies fluid to the rear brakes which may lead to brake pipe leakage. Vehicles built from 07/01/2001 to 03/31/2002 are at risk.

The following remedial action is necessary to address this problem. Recall affected vehicles and reposition brake pipe.

Vehicles with the following identification numbers are affected:

475199 - 493474 to 0
