SCANIA BUS N bus Recall

Electric cable may overheat

SCANIA BUS announced a problem with the N bus affecting a total of 23 vehicles.

It has been identified that, the B electrical cable has been routed so that it is in contact with the compressor pipe. This can result in the cable becoming hot, with the likelihood of damage occurring to the insulation. Vehicles built from 5/1/2006 to 10/31/2006 are at risk.

Recalled vehicles will have the cable routed, and secured to prevent it contacting the compressor pipe.
