RENAULT Laguna II Recall

Engine speed control concerns

RENAULT Laguna II recall Mar 2002RENAULT announced a problem with the Laguna II affecting a total of 1,646 vehicles.

1) Accelerator pedal may stick in the "open" position. (Petrol and diesel engine models). 2) Engine may stall at idle or after hard acceleration. (Diesel engine models).

The following remedial action is necessary to address this problem. 1) Reposition pad at base of accelerator. 2) Repalce the pressure regulator valve on the diesel fuel pump.
