Brake fluid level warning light may become inoperative.
MAZDA announced a problem with the MAZDA 6 affecting a total of 16,332 vehicles.
The brake fluid reservoir may expand temporarily during pressure bleeding of the system. This may cause the float of the fluid level sensor to seize or be displaced - resulting in non-operation of the warning light.
The following remedial action is necessary to address this problem. Check position and operation of the float and adjust where necessary. Additionally, attach a caution label to the reservoir concerning the brake fluid bleeding pressure.
Vehicles with the following identification numbers are affected:
JMZGY******100039 to JMZGY******134865 JMZGG******100113 to JMZGG******184907
