RENAULT TRUCKS UK LTD announced a problem with the Midlum DXI affecting a total of 22 vehicles.
It has been identified that the front brake chambers of affected vehicles may have been incorrectly torqued. Should this be the case, detachment of the chamber and subsequent loss of braking effort at the affected wheel station may occur. Vehicles built from 9/3/2007 to 9/17/2007 are at risk.
Recalled vehicles will have the front brake chambers checked for conformity. The chambers will be replaced should any nonconformance be found.
