MERCEDES BENZ announced a problem with the 0405N & 0405GN affecting a total of 219 vehicles.
Electrical fault in the 24 volt supply to the auxiliary heater resulted in a fire. Vehicles built from 01/01/1998 to 12/31/1999 are at risk.
The following remedial action is necessary to address this problem. INTERIM REMEDY:- Disconnect and insulate the electrical supply to the heater and turn off the fuel supply tap.
