NISSAN announced a problem with the T30 - X-TRAIL affecting a total of 27,869 vehicles.
There is a possibility that the fuel tank filler tube may rust around the mounting bracket. This may create a small hole through progression of rust, and fuel may leak during the refuelling process. Vehicles built from 06/01/2000 to 11/23/2004 are at risk.
Recalled vehicles will have the fuel filler tube replaced.
