Rear brake hose may chafe

FORD RACING PUMA recall Jul 2003

FORD announced a problem with the RACING PUMA affecting a total of 481 vehicles.

Under certain circumstances the rear brake flexible hoses may chafe on the axle beam. Vehicles built from 01/01/2000 to 12/24/2000 are at risk.

The following remedial action is necessary to address this problem. Fit modified brake hoses, change the routing and fit securing clips.

If you think that your vehicle may be affected by this recall you should find your nearest FORD dealer who will be able to confirm whether or not your car is safe and arrange its free repair if necessary.
