CHRYSLER Dodge Journey and Chrysler Grand Voyager Recall
Engine may cut out
CHRYSLER announced a problem with the Dodge Journey and Chrysler Grand Voyager affecting a total of 539 vehicles.
Under certain conditions, rough or uneven roads, it is possible that the ignition switch may move to the 'Accessory' position whilst the vehicle is in motion. This can cause the engine stop and could result in a collision. Vehicles built from 08/01/2009 to 05/31/2010 are at risk.
The following remedial action is necessary to address this problem. Recall all affected vehicles for inspection and the fitment of additional parts to overcome the issue.
