LAND ROVER Discovery Recall

Reduced braking efficiency concern.

LAND ROVER Discovery recall Mar 2002LAND ROVER announced a problem with the Discovery affecting a total of 29,777 vehicles.

Land Rover has identified a malfunction within the Anti-lock braking system electronics which is caused by a spurious electrical signal. This fault can cause a reduction in braking efficiency. Vehicles built from 07/10/1998 to 07/01/2001 are at risk.

The following remedial action is necessary to address this problem. Fit a new Anti-lock braking system control unit which has revised software.

Vehicles with the following identification numbers are affected:

XA900000 to XA907214 to 0
