Brake servo may fail

RENAULT Megane II recall Jan 2003

RENAULT announced a problem with the Megane II affecting a total of 2,803 vehicles.

Brake servo may fail resulting in a "hard" brake pedal due to the loss of power assistance.

The following remedial action is necessary to address this problem. Replace the brake servo unit.

If you think that your vehicle may be affected by this recall you should find your nearest RENAULT dealer who will be able to confirm whether or not your car is safe and arrange its free repair if necessary.
