CITROEN announced a problem with the DS3, C3 (A51) & C3 Picasso affecting a total of 865 vehicles.
The battery earth return cable maybe too short, which during vehicle operation may cause it to fail at its gearbox mounting point. This could result in the engine cutting out. Vehicles built from 07/01/2011 to 23/02/2011 are at risk.
The following remedial action is necessary to address this problem. Recall all affected vehicle and replace the battery earth return cable.
Vehicles with the following identification numbers are affected:
49641 to 118520 ZAMFK39A790041624 to ZAMHH45C000044172
