PEUGEOT PARTNER VAN Recall

Airbag ecu is not to specification

PEUGEOT PARTNER VAN recall May 2005PEUGEOT announced a problem with the PARTNER VAN affecting a total of 5,912 vehicles.

The airbag Electronic Control Unit (ECU) is incorrect to specification, this reduces the number of impact configurations taken into consideration when activating the airbags. So an airbag may not deploy in as many advantageous situations.

The following remedial action is necessary to address this problem. Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected and replace the airbag ECU.

If you think that your vehicle may be affected by this recall you should find your nearest PEUGEOT dealer who will be able to confirm whether or not your car is safe and arrange its free repair if necessary.
