LAND ROVER announced a problem with the Range Rover fitted with DSC affecting a total of 49 vehicles.
On certain vehicles equipped with a dynamic stability control the yaw rate sensor may have suffered internal delamination. This could result in actuation of the stability control incorrectly, resulting in uneven and unexpected application of the brakes. Vehicles built from 06/22/2004 to 07/09/2004 are at risk.
Recalled vehicles will be inspected in order to ascertain whether they contain a suspect sensor. Should this indeed be the case, the sensor will be replaced with a quality assured part.
