CHRYSLER announced a problem with the JEEP - GRAND CHEROKEE affecting a total of 1,499 vehicles.
The cooling fan blades may fracture and separate from the fan which will in certain circumstances allow the engine to overheat. Vehicles built from 01/01/1999 to 12/31/2003 are at risk.
The following remedial action is necessary to address this problem. Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected to replace the fan assembly.

find your nearest CHRYSLER dealer
who will be able to confirm whether or not your car is safe and arrange its free repair if necessary.
