HONDA announced a problem with the FR-V affecting a total of 1,296 vehicles.
The engine may hesitate or cut out due to air accumulating in the fuel strainer, which is then drawn in by the high pressure fuel pump. This in turn results in low fuel pressure leading to hesitation, illuminating MIL lamp on and possible stalling. Vehicles built from 03/10/2005 to 01/17/2006 are at risk.
The following remedial action is necessary to address this problem. Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected and fit a redesigned fuel strainer.
If you think that your vehicle may be affected by this recall you should
