MERCEDES BENZ announced a problem with the R Class affecting a total of 50 vehicles.
The routing of the stater motor wiring harness may be incorrect, with the attendant risk of a short circuit occurring.
The following remedial action is necessary to address this problem. Recall vehicles and check the routing of the subject wiring harness, taking corrective action as necessary.
