IVECO announced a problem with the Stralis affecting a total of 1,749 vehicles.
The second axle steering ram and/or clevis assembly may not be to specification which will result in some movement between the mounting and the ram. If ignored, the movement will increase with usage and could eventually lead to separation of the ram and mounting resulting in the steering control being impaired.
The following remedial action is necessary to address this problem. Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected to check and where necessary replace parts as indicated by the repair procedure issued by the manufacturer.
