MERCEDES BENZ announced a problem with the E CLASS AND SL CLASS affecting a total of 4,700 vehicles.
Problems may occur with the Sensotronic Brake Control (SBC) hydraulic unit that could affect the input required by the driver to stop the vehicle.
The following remedial action is necessary to address this problem. Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected so the SBC hydraulic unit can be checked and if necessary replaced.
